Sarah and James wanted a classic, grand celebration that honoured tradition. The Raffles Hotel was the only venue that felt right — from the tropical Palm Court solemnisation beneath century-old palms to the grand march-in at the Raffles Ballroom with its crystal chandeliers and 7-metre ceilings. 300 guests enjoyed a 10-course Chinese banquet with Western touches. The couple's tea ceremony was held in a private heritage suite, and their yum seng toast echoed through the grand ballroom.
